Matters needing attention in cleaning the admixture tank:
1. Open the storage tank for ventilation before cleaning. The additives are generally required to be stored in a sealed, cool and ventilated place to avoid rain pollution or sunlight exposure. Long term closed storage can easily lead to insufficient oxygen in tanks. Additives, especially naphthalene sulfonate series additives products, because the production process itself to use formaldehyde, concentrated sulfuric acid, industrial naphthalene and other toxic chemical raw materials, high temperature in summer, in the tank will also release a large number of formaldehyde and other toxic gases.
2. It is necessary to take turns to clean the tank. The diameter of the tank is small. When the workers clean the tank, the high intensity of labor will lead to insufficient oxygen in the tank. During tank cleaning, 2-3 employees are required to take turns to clean the tank and rotate every 10-15 minutes to avoid single operation. If conditions permit, an electric fan is placed at the inlet of the admixture tank. On the one hand, the air flow in the tank can be accelerated and the temperature in the tank can be lowered.
3. Workers must be equipped with corresponding protective measures before entering the tank to clean up, they must be equipped with safety ropes, protective covers, boots and other protective measures. Admixture itself is a chemical product, and it has some damage to the skin itself. If the workers are in the clean-up area, if they feel unwell, they should stop cleaning imtely, so as to avoid any accidents.
